The project

This project was scoped from day one as a concours entry, not just a restoration — every decision was made against the real judging categories in the 100-point calculator on our home page. The low-cut Speedster windshield frame and correct factory-style bucket seats were sourced through Porsche specialists rather than generalist reproduction suppliers, and the car's casting-date documentation on the engine case was cross-checked against known 356A production date ranges before final assembly to confirm the numbers-matching claim the owner wanted to be able to stand behind.

The car earned a First Junior award on its first national outing, with judges’ notes citing correct underbody detailing and door-gap consistency as standout points.
